VCS 3737: Solar Power Meets Precision Venting in a Skylight Built to Impress

The VELUX VCS 3737 2004S is a solar-powered venting curb mount skylight designed for modern energy efficiency and comfort. With a built-in solar panel, this skylight operates without wiring, making it perfect for both new installations and retrofits. Its laminated Low-E3 safety glass provides durability, UV protection, and meets safety standards for out-of-reach applications. Designed to fit an outside curb dimension of 40.5" x 40.5", this unit opens and closes with a remote control and includes a room-darkening solar shade for superior light and temperature control. It is compatible with roof pitches from 0° to 60°, and comes with a 10-year installation warranty when installed with approved VELUX flashing kits.

A curb-mounted skylight is designed to sit on a raised curb structure built on the roof, making it a flexible option for both new installations and replacements.

 

Curb-mounted models are ideal for flat or low-slope roofs and can simplify installation—especially when replacing older units or working with thicker roofing materials.

ECL Low-Profile Flashing – Suitable for low-slope and flat roofs, commonly used with membrane or rolled roofing systems.
