Flashing
A curb-mounted skylight is designed to sit on a raised curb structure built on the roof, making it a flexible option for both new installations and replacements. It’s especially well-suited for flat or low-slope roofs and simplifies installation when replacing older units or working with thicker roofing materials.
Compatible with roof pitches from 0:12 to 20:12 (0° to 60°), curb-mounted models are ideal for retrofits, homes with existing curbs, and roofing types like torch-down, TPO, modified bitumen, or tar & gravel.
Flashing options include ECL low-profile flashing for flat or low-slope roofs with membrane or rolled roofing; ECW step flashing for shingle or shake roofs with a minimum 3:12 pitch; and EMW flashing, custom-fit for standing seam and corrugated metal roofs.
